Catalytic Converter Etching Event

Presented by the Port Washington Police Department, Council Member Mariann Dalimonte, & Craig Botts Service Center

A serial number will be etched onto the catalytic converter of your vehicle. That serial number will then be entered into a National database which tracks the sale and recycling of catalytic converters at scrap yards.  

There will be a limited number of appointments. If you are interested and are eligible, please fill out the registration form below.

• LOCATION: Craig Bott’s Service Station located at 80 Old Shore Road, Port Washington NY 11050

• WHO IS ELIGIBLE: Residents living in the unincorporated areas of Port Washington, Village of Baxter Estates, and the Village of Port Washington North. Additionally, we would like to give priority reservations to previous victims of catalytic converter theft and owners of certain vehicles to be eligible for this initiative.
• VEHICLE ELIGIBLITY: Currently the only vehicles eligible will be Honda, Acura, and Hyundai models.
